Monitored web sites can be organized in groups. This is particularly useful if you monitor many sites and want to group them by content, e.g. News Sites, Stock Sites, Auction Sites, Competitors Sites etc.

 

The groups are displayed in a tree structure on the main screen of UpdatePatrol. Groups may have sub-groups. To display the sub-groups, click the small + (plus) sign to the left of the group to expand it, similar to when you browse folders in Windows Explorer.

 

To add a new group, either select Add from the Groups menu or right-click on the group list and select Add. You will then be prompted for the name of your new group, which will be created below the currently selected folder when you click OK.
