From the File menu, select "Export sites", and enter the name of your export file.

 

You can export your sites in two different formats:

 

1) XML format. This includes all information about the sites, except the downloaded copies of the page content. It also includes your setup and scheduling information.

 

2) CSV format. This includes only basic information about the sites and can be imported into e.g. Excel. The information exported per site is URL, Name, Group, Schedule, Time added, Time last checked and Time last updated.

 

To copy your entire database, close UpdatePatrol and copy the data file located in "C:\Documents and Settings\<Windows username>\Application Data\UpdatePatrol\upatrol.dat". The path is slightly different on different Windows versions, but you can open the data folder from the File menu of UpdatePatrol by selecting the "Open data folder" menu entry.
