Scripts |
Certain scripts included in monitored web pages may cause problems for UpdatePatrol. The most common sign of problems is that it takes a long time to display the page in the internal web browser. This is usually caused by scripts that expect the page to be located on the web server, and not be stored as a local copy on your hard drive, which is what UpdatePatrol does in order to be able to highlighting changes.
Enter script identifiers in the edit box to make UpdatePatrol ignore all script sections of a page containing the keyword in either the script itself, or in the link to an external script.
